Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (CFY) - School
SLP Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow with pediatric experience to work at an excellent school district in Suwanee, GA. This is a fantastic opportunity to build upon your speech-language pathology skills and jump start your SLP career. The job will entail providing speech therapy and rehabilitation services under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to students in the school district. Job Responsibilities:
· Provide Speech and Language services under the supervision of a licensed ASHA-certified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), in alignment with the goals of the Clinical Fellowship Tear.
· Assist in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in accordance with individualized education programs (IEPs) or treatment plans.
· Observe and implement evidence-based therapy techniques, modifying approaches as guided by the supervising SLP to meet the individual needs of students.
· Collaborate with families, caregivers, and educational teams to support carryover of communication strategies and therapeutic goals.
· Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation of services provided, student progress, and required reports.
· Adhere to ASHA’s Code of Ethics and CF guidelines to ensure a high standard of clinical practice and professional growth.
Job Requirements:
· Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
· Eligible for state licensure as a Clinical Fellow (temporary or provisional license, as required by state)
· Current BLS/CPR certification
· Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
· Clinical practicum experience completed as part of graduate program (no post-graduate experience required)
